If you love your seafood, then this delicacy is a must, it’s definitely an acquired taste but as they say, when in Rome, do what Romans do, so when in Puglia, do what the Pugliese do, Ricci (sea Urchins)

Regional Produce
The Puglia landscape is predominately flat and thanks to it’s flatness, has always been an agricultural region, producing many products, including, Olive oil, (more than any other Italian region), wine, aubergines, artichokes and wheat.

History
One of the must see towns, among many, is the beautiful and unique town of Alberobello, a small town that has been made a UNESCO World Heritage site for its unusual districts of Trulli, the characteristic white-washed conical roofed houses in the area.
